Event Manager / Office All-Rounder (m/f/d)
A warm summer evening, the Spree shimmering, sundowners at the ready — and everything on board the Hemingway running smoothly because someone in the office asked the right questions, planned the schedule carefully, and made sure the crew had everything they needed. That someone could be you.
Who we are
FLAGSHIP.BERLIN has been bringing a touch of style to Berlin's waterways since 2015. Our fleet ranges from the modern Hemingway to lovingly restored historic vessels — all electric, quiet, and low-maintenance. We run sightseeing tours, sundowner cruises, and aperitif trips, and we plan individual charter voyages for every occasion worth celebrating: from weddings to corporate kick-offs. Our office is in the Europacity district, right next to the main station — with a view of the water, not a backyard.
Your role
As Event Manager and Office All-Rounder (m/f/d), you're our steady anchor between clients, crews, and suppliers. You coordinate charters from the first enquiry to departure, keep the day-to-day operations of our sightseeing tours running smoothly, and are the first point of contact for everyone — on site and by phone.
What you'll do
- ·Coordinate charters end-to-end: write proposals, advise clients, organise catering and suppliers, prepare crew briefings.
- ·Serve as the contact person for guests and crews on our sightseeing tours — by email, phone, and sometimes right on the dock.
- ·Keep the office running: emails, invoices, coordination, the small and large things that might otherwise fall through the cracks.
- ·Be a problem-solver: when it rains, the group gets bigger, or the catering falters — you find the solution before anyone notices.
What you bring
Required
- ·Experience in an office role — ideally with some exposure to events.
- ·Organisational talent and a mind that keeps an overview even when multiple things happen at once.
- ·Openness and warmth with people — our guests come from all over the world, and our team is international.
- ·Independent, structured working style and the confidence to make decisions.
- ·Fluent German and good English, spoken and written.
Nice to have
- ·Experience in tourism, hospitality, or event management
- ·Familiarity with booking or CRM systems
- ·Knowledge of Berlin
